Despite a late desperate effort from the Penguins, the Bruins won Game 4 with a 1-0 shutout and completed a sweep over the Penguins. For the Penguins it could not have gone much worse. After building one of the deepest teams in NHL history, the Penguins went down very easily. In the four games, the Penguins scored a total of two goals.

The great Sidney Crosby did not record a single point this series and will without a doubt face some heat from NHL fans and media. This could be one of the most dissapointing teams in recent years. They had superstars everywhere on this roster. They added players like Ignila, Morrow and Murrary at the deadline. This goes to show you cannot win hockey games on paper.

Give the Bruins some credit in this series though. Their defense was swarming and relentless. Everytime a Penguin had the puck in the zone there was defenders everywhere. They fustrated the superstars like Malkin and Crosby. Lets not forget about Tuukka Rask who was unreal throughout this series. He allowed only two goals and recored two shutouts as well.

If you would of told me that the Bruins were going to the Cup as they were facing elmination down 4-1 in the third period vs. the Leafs you would be crazy. Ever since of the most remarkable comebacks in playoff history this team as not looked back as they continued to roll and dominated the Rangers. They will now wait the winner of the Blackhawks and Kings series.
